Your Flower Adventure

Step 1: Availability

Firstly it’s important to check my availability once your venue and date are set, I can then provisionally pencil your date in before we start the ball rolling for your flower journey. I sometimes get booked up 12-18 months in advance, so do get in touch as soon as you can – I hate turning people away!

Step 2:  What to expect from the initial consultation

Next steps are to arrange a free consultation at Brompton Buds HQ or your venue.  For those of you that are not local to the South West you may prefer a phone meeting. During this meeting we will discuss your ideas and get to know each other. For this initial meeting or phone conversation, the more information you can give me, the better!

Tell me about your colours, the style of wedding you’re dreaming about having, and any other décor elements that are really important to you. It’s always a great help if you have any colour swatches, or inspiring images that I can use as a starting point for our creative journey together. I will always start by asking you both if there are any flowers you both feel strongly about.

There are many clients that like to remember a friend or relative that sadly cannot be with them today this can often be done by including their favourite flower.  I will then collate everything into a visual quote for you, showing suggested colours and using images and sketches where appropriate, alongside ballpark figures. This mood board will be emailed to you shortly after our meeting.

Step 3: Pricing

All my quotes are bespoke and tailor made to suit the couple. In these initial stages I give a 'starting from price' and 'up to price' which shows various pricing options that are on offer to suit your budget.  If you are happy with this initial quote and would like to proceed further then I take a £200 non-refundable booking fee/deposit, which confirms your date in my diary. Your booking fee/deposit will then be deducted from your final bill which is due 5 weeks prior to your big day.

Step 4: Flexibility

Your initial quote does not need to be set in stone, so if the figures or the initial designs don’t quite suit you, I’ll work to adapt and tweak to make them a perfect fit. I will work with you, making changes and tweaks right up to 5 weeks before your big day. I understand that ideas can blossom as you move forward with your wedding planning, and flowers are a great way of incorporating inspiration from other elements of your day, tying everything together beautifully. As time goes on I will keep your mood board updated, so that by the end of our journey together you will both have a clear vision of what I will be producing for you on your big day.

Step 5: your wedding day

Your bridal flowers will be freshly delivered to you on the morning of your wedding at a time led by you.  By handing the bridal flowers to you directly I can make sure that you are completely happy with everything. There’s no need to worry about the set up and installation, leave that to me and my team so you can relax and enjoy your day to the fullest, and experience a real wow moment when you step into your venue and see it transformed with flowers! I will always include your delivery and set up costs with in your quote so there are no hidden surprises. There is always an option to collect your flowers from Brompton Buds HQ should you prefer to do so.
